TextbookShelf Privacy Policy

TextbookShelf does not require an account, does not include advertising or third-party analytics, and does not send your books, scans, or personal data to the developer.

Data stored on your device

The PDFs you import, the pages you scan, the text recognized from them, and your bookmarks, reading positions, and settings are stored only on your device. You can delete any book from your shelf, and deleting the app removes all of its data.

Camera and text recognition

The camera is used only when you choose to scan a paper book. Text recognition runs on your device with Apple's built-in Vision framework; images and recognized text are not uploaded.

Read aloud

Read-aloud uses the speech voices built into iOS on your device. The app does not record audio.

Purchases

Apple StoreKit processes the optional Pro Lifetime purchase and restoration. TextbookShelf does not receive or store your payment details.

Data collection and tracking

TextbookShelf does not collect data for advertising, analytics, or tracking and does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

设备上的数据

你导入的 PDF、扫描的页面、识别出的文字，以及书签、阅读位置和设置，只保存在你的设备上。你可以在书架中删除任意一本书；删除应用即会清除全部数据。

相机与文字识别

只有在你选择扫描纸质课本时才会使用相机。文字识别由 Apple 系统内置的 Vision 框架在本机完成，图片和识别出的文字都不会上传。

朗读

朗读功能使用 iOS 本机内置的语音，应用不会录音。

购买

可选的 Pro 终身买断和恢复购买由 Apple StoreKit 处理。课本书架不会接收或保存你的付款资料。

数据收集与跟踪

课本书架不会为广告、分析或跟踪收集数据，也不包含第三方广告或分析 SDK。
